Damascus - The Russian political expert Yuri Zinen has said that Russia cares for cooperation with Syria in a way that contributes in achieving stability in the region, asserting that coordination and understanding between the two countries will positively influence the Middle East peace process and the diplomatic efforts on this track.

In a statement to Syrian Tishrin daily published Sunday, Zinen criticized the false accusations directed against Syria regarding what is happening in Lebanon, noting that there is no need for the international court.

The political expert expressed concern over the political situation in Lebanon, stressing the importance of dialogue and understanding among the Lebanese parties.

He pointed out that finding a solution to the Palestinian issue can't be achieved unless an overall solution to the Middle East conflict is found.

He emphasized that the catastrophes which the world is suffering from are due to the American military, economic, scientific hegemony.
