Gaza - Al-Dameer Association for Human Rights has condemned the Israeli decision of deporting a Palestinian detainee, of Jenin to the Gaza Strip.
In a press release issued Tuesday, al-Dameer considered the deportation of the detainee Abedallah Yassen, administratively detained in Israeli jails, to the Gaza Strip is a flagrant violation to international humanitarian law, adding that Yaseen was detained without being convicted.
It called on international community and HR organisations to denounce the decision of the deportation and exercise pressure on Israeli government to compel it respecting the Fourth Geneva Conviction.
Worth mentioning, Israel's government deported approximately 36 citizens to Gaza Strip , Europe and Canada in 2002.
