Cairo-PalPress-Satellite TV channels participating in covering the Palestinian dialogue talks taking place in Cairo,  rejected giving any statements  on the possibility of Fatah and Hamas coming to an agreement over a temporary reference to the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), which indicates that the Palestinian negotiators have decided not to be completely opened to the media this time.

The Egyptian TV said that the discussions included several proposals which aim at approaching points of views between either sides over the outstanding issues on top of which: the government, the PLO and the elections law.

Fatah official Dr. Nabil Shaath, stated last night said that the first meeting ended  with out achieving a breakthrough despite the positive atmosphere which prevailed the meeting , Al Jazeera TV channel reported that a basic breakthrough for ending the differences between Hamas and Fatah was reached,  pointing out that  a role for a temporary  PLO reference ( alternative body), until a new National Council is elected  was discussed too

The talking is about the fourth round of dialogue meetings in Cairo, President Abbas said yesterday: "All of us are living miseries and facing troubles , we have to frankly talk about this , the dialogue was re launched today in order to restore the unity of the Palestinian people, it is all what we want despite all the differences , we want a government which signs onto the past agreements signed by the PLO".

President Abbas pointed out that the new government will be responsible about administrating the  affairs of country affairs and the reconstruction of Gaza where some 100 000 are living in the open air.

"I do not know until when they are going to wait and we will not be able to reconstruct Gaza until a government capable of  supervising on this reconstruction was formed", he added

President Abbas continued: " We have to change the lives of our  people in Gaza regarding homes, mosques, streets , and schools, for that there must be a legitimate government to take the responsibility of the reconstruction operations , how can we wait for the suffering of our people in Gaza , see them living in tents and in the open air with out doing nothing ?!

He clarified that the third task of the government is to prepare for early Parliamentary and presidential elections by January 2010, "if we waited until all the outstanding issues are resolved, those who sufferer will not be able to,  Abbas said.

President Abbas added: "when the crisis first began,  we called for early elections and they rejected, today we are not calling for early elections, we are calling for holding elections within the specified  time , we  hope to reach reconciliation and go for the formation of a government".
