Ramallah-PalPress-Chief of Fatah bloc in the Legislative Council and member of it's delegation to Cairo Azzam Al Ahmed, said that Hamas movement did not show sufficient lenience over several issues during the dialogue meetings in Cairo on Tuesday.
Al Ahmed added in a statement to the BBC:" Concerning the elections, all factions and independents except Hamas are in support of a full proportional representation", however, he added that Hamas showed lenience over issues which were discussed previously, pointing out that an agreement was reached over the PLO issue.
For his part, Hamas prominent leader Mahmoud Al Zahar, said that points of views between the Palestinian factions are kind of approaching, however there is difficulty in reaching an agreement over the four issues as one package… he pointed out that there should be an agreement over the alternatives for the government, elections, security and the rest of the issues.
"We can not agree on one issue and ignore the rest ", Zahar said .
In a similar statement, Al Zahar added: "when we come to an an agreement regarding these four points in addition to the issues which were agreed up on previously, we can then begin the implementation process".
Following a three - day visit to Cairo, Hamas delegation left the Egyptian capital to Damascus today where it participated in the fourth round of the Palestinian national dialogue talks hosted by Egypt.

An official source stated on Tuesday that the fifth round of Palestinian dialogue meetings will be held in Cairo on the 16'th and 17'th of next May in order to resolve the outstanding issues in preparation for holding a comprehensive national dialogue and signing the national reconciliation document.
Fatah delegation headed by Ahmed Qurei included Dr. Nabil Shaath, Azzam Al Ahmed, Samir Al Mashharawi, and Majed Faraj left Cairo yesterday Tuesday.
