Ramallah-PalPress-President Mahmoud Abbas issued today evening a decree for holding the general elections on Sunday  January 24 /2010.

The President called on the Palestinian people in  Gaza Strip, the West Bank and Jerusalem to participate in the elections.

The decree was issued on eve of  convening the Central Council in the west Bank city of Ramallah tomorrow for approval.
