Washington-PalPress-The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday addressed thousands of North American Jews at the General Assembly of the Jewish Federations of North America, where he urged President Mahmoud Abbas to re launch peace talks immediately, however he said that Jerusalem will remain  the eternal capital of the state of Israel.

At the beginning of his speech, Netanyahu said that he seeks negotiations which can insure real peace  with Syria and  the Palestinians, pointing out that he does not seek indefinite negotiations.

Netanyahu was interrupted several times during his speech, a protestor supporter of Palestinians cried out at Netanyahu calling him to end Gaza siege and raised up  a banner reading “Peace for Israel and for the Palestinians” , but no sooner she was let out of the hall.
