Beirut-PalPress-The Lebanese newspaper "Al Mostakbal" wrote that the French President Nicholas Sarkozi, asked his friend Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a meeting between the pair on May,28 to inform him in advance of any  plans for launching an attack on Lebanon in order to  neutralize the French forces operating with the UNIFEL to avoid losses and to avoid embarrassment of the Elise.

The newspaper quoted various reliable and informed  sources as saying that Paris has information notably from Washington that Israel has intended to attack Hizbullah in Lebanon.

The Israeli strike against Hizbullah aims to maintain Israel's strategic role, and existence in the Middle East and  not  to revenge for it's defeat in the  2006 war.

Information coming from Washington indicate that an Israeli delegation comprised of a number of high ranking operating and retired officers in the Israeli army met in Washington with senior U.S. officials and experts and discussed with them the reality as it is viewed in Israel :

-Iran's nuclear threat is the face of the confrontation and not it's origin.

-"Hizbullah" is the nuclear Iranian bomb in the region viable for use at any moment.

-The military tension,  the growing power of Hizbullah and the possibility of promoting  a comprehensive wide scale  war where Israeli civilians will not be far from have created a kind of coup in Israel's composition at the future strategic level.

-Israel is almost done with Exercises for war with Hizbullah  , and  decision for war has been taken but it will not  be carried out now because President Barack Obama should be given a period of time  to complete the entitlement to the Congressional elections next fall.

-Scud missiles  did not reach Hizbullah, if this happened Israel would not have hesitated to strike warehouses in Syria or Lebanon.

-Israel is convinced that Syria and Iran will not get involved directly  in any Israeli war against Hizbullah , no matter how ferocious and  cruel it is.
