Barak rules out any progress in indirect talks with the Pal'ns

Jerusalem-PalPress-Israel's Defense Minister Ehud Barak, ruled out that the current Palestinian-Israeli indirect talks would witness any progress.

Barak confirmed the importance of shifting to direct talks with the Palestinian side in order to achieve the two states solution an enhance  regional peace and security.

Israel's Defense Minister made these statements during his meeting in Washington last night  with the U.S Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Washington.

The meeting discussed also Israel's decision to ease it's blockade on Gaza Strip, Barak confirmed that Israel will continue inspection of goods sent to Gaza Strip in order to prevent the smuggling of weapons.

However, he pointed out that Israel will work on improving the infrastructure of the cargo crossings leading to the Strip ion order to facilitate the transfer of goods.

On the other hand, Barak held the Lebanese government responsible about any action which targets Israel from it's territories , expressing his worry from the Lebanese government's weak stance against Hizbullah organization.

Barak is planned for a meeting with the U.S. national security advisor  General James Jones today.
